Rachel recently completed her third and final year as a student of Fine Arts at Georgian College in Ontario Canada. She completed an introduction program at Algonquin College in Ottawa before moving back to her home town of Barrie to complete the advanced fine arts program at Georgian College. She is also the current social media chair of the East Central Ontario Artist Association. Rachel focuses on painting and has recently been including sculpture into her work. Her main style of painting is a mix between minimalism and pop art. By minimizing the number of values and using reference photos she is able to create flat islands of colour that can then be divided into different physical layers to create the illusion of depth as well as actual depth. Rachel has now had the opportunity to exhibit in several galleries as part of group shows but due to covid-19 restrictions had to cancel a planed solo show.
